<p><strong>Application Support Engineer</strong></p><p>On-site | Austin, TX | Full-time</p><p><br></p><p>Robert Half is partnering with a local organization to hire an Application Support Engineer to improve the reliability of mission-critical applications. This is a hands-on, lead role focused on complex production issues, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with engineering teams.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead support for complex incidents across custom and third‑party applications.</li><li>Troubleshoot web, API, and data services hosted in Azure.</li><li>Analyze logs, telemetry, and performance metrics using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Kusto/KQL.</li><li>Identify recurring issues and recommend long‑term reliability improvements.</li><li>Partner with engineering and SRE teams to investigate defects and prioritize fixes.</li><li>Own tickets from intake through resolution while meeting SLAs.</li><li>Document solutions and mentor junior support engineers.</li><li>Support third‑party integrations, APIs, and SSO (OAuth/OIDC).</li><li>Participate in an on‑call rotation as needed.</li></ul>
