<p><strong>Linux Automation Engineer</strong></p><p>Austin, TX | Contract | On Site</p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking a Linux Automation Engineer to design, automate, and support enterprise infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable solutions, automating manual processes, and improving system reliability through modern infrastructure and cloud technologies.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Administer and support Linux-based infrastructure in cloud and on-prem environments</li><li>Develop automation scripts, integrations, and operational tools using Python</li><li>Build and maintain infrastructure within Azure and/or AWS</li><li>Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management solutions</li><li>Manage system monitoring, performance tuning, security, and patching</li><li>Support APIs, databases, and enterprise application integrations</li><li>Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and platform issues</li><li>Partner with technical and business teams to deliver scalable technology solutions</li></ul>

<ul><li>5+ years of Linux systems administration or infrastructure engineering experience</li><li>Strong Python scripting and automation skills</li><li>Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms</li><li>Knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and firewalls</li><li>Experience supporting APIs, databases, and enterprise applications</li><li>Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools</li><li>Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments</li><li>CI/CD pipeline development and automation</li><li>Microsoft 365 administration experience</li><li>Experience supporting multi-site or distributed organizations</li><li>AWS, Azure, Linux, or DevOps certifications</li></ul>
