<p><br></p><p><strong>Robert Half</strong> is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify a <strong>Cloud Security Engineer (contract).</strong> In this role, you’ll be instrumental in protecting the next evolution of our platform as we expand and migrate deeper into the cloud. You will shape the strategy and build the tools. <strong>This role is hybrid in Austin, Tx. </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native security tools to safeguard Bumble’s cloud infrastructure.</li><li>Lead key cloud security initiatives, shaping infrastructure architecture and implementation with a security-first mindset.</li><li>Collaborate closely with our global 24/7/365 Security Operations team, including participation in a rotating on-call schedule.</li><li>Partner with Infrastructure and Engineering teams to embed security practices early in the development lifecycle.</li><li>Provide expert support during security incidents, offering technical depth and steady leadership under pressure.</li><li>Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.</li><li>Continuously improve internal security tooling and integrate best-in-class external platforms to enhance capabilities.</li></ul>
