This role focuses heavily on <strong>Excel‑style formulas</strong>, conditional logic, dynamic calculations, and advanced form flows. The ideal candidate can translate business requirements into intuitive, multi‑step user experiences that adapt based on user input.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Build interactive forms with <strong>complex logic</strong>, dynamic calculations, and conditional workflows.</li><li>Translate business requirements, workflow documents, and data structures into functional form logic.</li><li>Implement <strong>conditional visibility</strong> (show/hide rules), branching paths, and multi‑step user flows.</li><li>Develop and validate repeating data structures (e.g., multiple employees, nested objects).</li><li>Write clear in‑form instructions, help text, and user guidance.</li><li>Create validation rules, error handling, and logic‑driven output generation.</li><li>Ensure forms have intuitive layouts, strong information hierarchy, and mobile‑friendly design.</li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements and optimize user experience.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><p><strong>Excel Formula / Logic Expertise</strong></p><ul><li>Complex nested IF statements, AND/OR logic, IFS functions</li><li>Conditional arithmetic and dynamic calculations</li><li>Date/time formulas and comparisons</li><li>Text parsing and concatenation</li><li>Strong understanding of formula dependencies and calculation order</li></ul><p><strong>Advanced Form Logic</strong></p><ul><li>Conditional visibility and branching</li><li>Repeating/iterative data structures (arrays, tables, multi‑entry forms)</li><li>Object-based modeling (e.g., Person.Name, Project.Priority)</li><li>Triggered follow‑up questions based on prior inputs</li><li>Validation rules, error messages, and logic gates</li><li>Data‑driven output generation</li></ul><p><strong>User Experience &amp; Design</strong></p><ul><li>Designing multi-step, intuitive form flows</li><li>Reducing user friction and anticipating confusion points</li><li>Clear labeling, grouping, and progressive disclosure</li><li>Responsive design considerations</li><li>Effective error messaging and user guidance</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Background</strong></p><p>Candidates with experience in any of the following will stand out:</p><ul><li>Enterprise form platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce, Power Apps)</li><li>Logic-heavy form/survey builders (Formstack, Typeform, JotForm)</li><li>Data modeling or structured/nested data experience</li><li>UX writing or technical writing</li><li>User testing, usability research, or form optimization work</li></ul>
