<p>Our company is seeking a skilled Contract Data Engineer to support our technology team in Atlanta, GA. In this project-based role, you will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and architectures – essential for data collection, transformation, and analytics. Ideal candidates bring a hands-on background with either Azure or AWS platforms.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, construct, and maintain scalable cloud-based data pipelines using Azure or AWS services.</li><li>Collaborate with teams to gather technical requirements and implement data integrations.</li><li>Create and optimize ETL processes ensuring accessible and high-quality data for analysis.</li><li>Troubleshoot pipeline issues and perform data quality checks.</li><li>Manage large data sets in accordance with security and compliance standards.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Professional experience as a Data Engineer.</li><li>Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Azure or AWS data services.</li><li>Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala).</li><li>Data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development expertise.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a contract setting.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect).</li><li>Experience with distributed systems or real-time data processing frameworks.</li></ul>
