We are looking for a dedicated Network Technician to join our team in Anderson, South Carolina. In this role, you will work extensively with Cisco and Fortinet technologies to ensure the smooth operation and security of network systems. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow in an innovative IT environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Configure, install, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions, with a focus on Cisco and Fortinet platforms.<br>• Monitor and analyze network performance to identify and resolve connectivity issues and system outages.<br>• Conduct regular updates, maintenance, and firmware upgrades for critical network hardware.<br>• Troubleshoot complex network problems and collaborate with vendors and support teams to implement solutions.<br>• Apply network security protocols and best practices to safeguard systems in alignment with company policies.<br>• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, updates, and procedures for future reference.<br>• Assist in planning and executing network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.<br>• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and end users to address network-related concerns.<br>• Stay informed about advancements in networking technologies, specifically within Cisco and Fortinet ecosystems.

• Proven work experience in network administration or technician roles, with expertise in Cisco and Fortinet products.<br>• Comprehensive knowledge of IP protocols, VLAN configurations, and routing architectures.<br>• Hands-on experience with network security features, including firewalls, VPNs, and LAN systems.<br>• Familiarity with Active Directory and its integration within network environments.<br>• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.<br>• Excellent communication skills and the ability to document procedures clearly.<br>• Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and practices.
