Tax Services Associate Job Description

Tax associates must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Some firms will consider recent graduates with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, while others look for professionals with at least one year of experience working for a tax services team. Candidates should either aspire to become a CPA or have made progress toward the CPA designation, putting them on track to become a senior accountant. Knowledge of Excel and tax software is often preferred.
