  • <p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory and Receiving Assistant to join our team outside of Short Pump, Virginia. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of inventory and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory tracking, seamless goods receipt, and effective communication across departments.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy.</p><p>• Record received items in internal systems and label, organize, and allocate inventory to appropriate storage locations.</p><p>• Maintain clean and efficient warehouse storage areas and ensure proper inventory tracking across systems.</p><p>• Monitor inbound shipments, track containers in transit, and coordinate unloading and receiving of deliveries.</p><p>• Communicate with freight carriers and suppliers to manage delivery schedules and logistics.</p><p>• Track and coordinate internal stock transfers between locations, including RGAs and satellite inventory.</p><p>• Ensure timely processing of items returning to stock or auction and update systems accordingly.</p><p>• Maintain strong communication within the inventory team and coordinate effectively to support operational efficiency.</p><p>• Adapt to changing priorities and perform additional duties as assigned.</p>
