Your primary focus will be on leading the day-to-day financial activities, nurturing a talented team, and ensuring robust financial control and compliance.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Team Leadership: Provide hands-on, supportive, and approachable day-to-day management for a team of 5, including a Management Accountant and Payroll specialist.</li><li>Management Accounts: Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts and insightful analysis.</li><li>Payroll Management: Take ultimate responsibility for the end-to-end payroll process, providing cover and support for the payroll assistant.</li><li>Audit & Year-End: Support the annual audit and statutory year-end process, with full support from senior finance leadership.</li><li>Systems & Processes: Utilise your strong MS Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) skills to ensure system integrity and efficient financial operations.</li><li>Compliance: Ensure robust financial controls and adherence to ISO standards, VAT, payroll taxes, and R&D reporting.</li></ul>What We Are Looking For:We are seeking either a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by experience Accountant with a proven track record as a supportive and effective people manager.
