<p><strong>Role:</strong> Financial Modelling Lead<br /><br /></p><p><strong>Overview:</strong><br /> This senior role focuses on leading the development, interpretation, and application of financial models. You'll work closely with senior leaders, including the Executive team, to influence statutory reporting, long-term business planning, and strategic decisions.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Financial Modelling &amp; Analysis:</strong> Build and maintain financial models, run stress tests, scenario analysis, and ensure alignment with requirements.</li><li><strong>Regulatory Expertise:</strong> Monitor changes, anticipate future modelling needs, and adapt tools accordingly.</li><li><strong>Data &amp; Reporting:</strong> Ensure consistency across models, translate complex data into actionable insights, and produce high-quality reports and submissions.</li><li><strong>Stakeholder Engagement:</strong> Collaborate with internal teams and auditors; support consultation responses and PReview programmes.</li><li><strong>Business Planning:</strong> Lead modelling for the five-year business plan and support evidence-based outcomes in Price Reviews.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent; postgraduate analytical qualification or extensive experience.</li><li>Proven financial and strategic modelling experience, handling large datasets, and presenting complex findings clearly.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Advanced Excel and MS Power Tools; strong analytical and strategic thinking.</li><li>Knowledge of economic regulation and econometrics (desirable).</li><li>Programming (R/Python) and statistical software experience (desirable).</li></ul><p><strong>Personal Qualities:</strong><br /> Detail-oriented, commercially minded, proactive, innovative, and an excellent communicator.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
