Export Documentation Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Export Documentation Specialist to join our team in Langley, British Columbia, on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring seamless export operations by managing documentation, compliance, and communication with stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in export procedures and multilingual communication skills.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare, review, and process export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.<br>• Ensure all export-related documents comply with international trade regulations and destination country requirements.<br>• Coordinate with veterinary staff to obtain timely signatures and stamps for export documents.<br>• Liaise with production, shipping, sales, storage, and loading teams to facilitate smooth export operations.<br>• Address and resolve documentation discrepancies, shipping delays, and compliance issues efficiently.<br>• Stay informed about international trade laws, customs regulations, and shipping requirements to ensure compliance.<br>• Schedule export loading based on inventory and customer orders, maintaining open communication with clients.<br>• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all export transactions and related documentation.<br>• Collaborate with freight forwarders and customers to ensure timely preparation and approval of shipping documents.
<p>• Minimum of 2 years of experience in export documentation or related roles.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and export procedures.</p><p>• Proficiency in multilingual communication, with fluency in English and Cantonese or Mandarin.</p><p>• Familiarity with ERP systems and office functions related to export operations.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to handle export-import documents and customer service inquiries.</p><p>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when managing time-sensitive documentation.</p><p>• Ability to resolve issues promptly and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</p><p>• Knowledge of materials handling and pricing within export environments</p>
