Our client, based out of Cranbrook, the largest city in the BC's Kootenay region and BC's sunniest city, is looking to hire an Intermediate Accountant for their growing group of businesses.</p><p><br></p><p>The Intermediate Accountant will support the Senior Accountant and CFO with month-end financial reporting, month-end journal entries, reconciliations for bank accounts and G/L accounts. Additional duties include helping to maintain the fixed asset register by recording additions, disposals, depreciation entries, as well assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, account, intercompany and bank reconciliations. The Intermediate Accountant will also assist with monthly tax remittances, support inventory and fixed asset accounting processes.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>The ideal Intermediate Accountant will have 2 - 5 years of progressive hands on accounting experience and has some accounting education. Ideally you have completed your Diploma or BBA and are enrolled in the CPA program or planning to once you have completed your degree. You are currently located in Cranbrook or the surrounding area or you are able to move to Cranbrook of your own volition and are content to work in the office everyday as you know this is the best way to learn and grow.</p><p><br></p><p>If this is the role you have been looking for, please apply today!
