- We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join an automotive organization in Burnaby, British Columbia on a Contract basis. This position is fully on-site and will support daily receivables, cash processing, and general accounting activities in a fast-paced dealership environment. The successful candidate will contribute to timely month-end close tasks and help maintain accurate financial records across multiple business operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process incoming payments, apply cash accurately, and keep customer accounts up to date.<br>• Reconcile accounts receivable balances and investigate discrepancies to ensure records are complete and correct.<br>• Prepare and issue billing documentation while following internal controls and accounting procedures.<br>• Follow up on outstanding balances through careful collection activities with customers and internal stakeholders.<br>• Support month-end activities by completing assigned receivables and accounting tasks within tight deadlines.<br>• Assist with maintaining financial data for multiple dealership and shop operations, ensuring accuracy across transactions.<br>• Use accounting systems and spreadsheets to track receivables activity, analyze account details, and prepare reports.<br>• Contribute to general accounting support as needed, including data review and cross-functional coordination with finance team members.
