Revenue Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Revenue Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In this role, you will play a key part in managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions. This position offers an initial in-office arrangement during training, with the potential for a hybrid work setup based on performance.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate revenue records.<br>• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to maintain healthy cash flow.<br>• Apply payments to customer accounts and maintain organized records of transactions.<br>• Utilize financial systems such as Sage, Workday, or similar platforms to manage revenue-related data.<br>• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential areas for improvement.<br>• Prepare reports on revenue performance and provide insights to support decision-making.<br>• Communicate effectively with clients to address billing inquiries and resolve payment issues.<br>• Support the implementation of best practices in accounts receivable and revenue management processes.
• Minimum of 1.5 to 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in financial software such as Sage, Workday, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.<br>• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.<br>• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and clients.<br>• A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.<br>• Familiarity with cash applications, billing, collections, and account reconciliation processes.
