Property Administrator
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Vancouver, British Columbia. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative support to property managers and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of commercial properties while collaborating with tenants, contractors, and team members.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Respond promptly and professionally to tenant and client inquiries, ensuring all requests are addressed efficiently.<br>• Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors to ensure timely resolution of property issues.<br>• Assist in the preparation, review, and distribution of monthly financial reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant documents.<br>• Track and code accounts payable invoices while following up on discrepancies as necessary.<br>• Support property managers in collecting overdue rents and preparing tenant-related documentation.<br>• Facilitate tenant move-ins and move-outs by coordinating logistics and preparing welcome packages.<br>• Obtain quotes for building services and assist in drafting contracts and agreements.<br>• Maintain accurate and organized documentation, including tenant insurance records and contractor agreements.<br>• Assist with the registration and release of liens, as well as other legal documentation requirements.<br>• Provide administrative support for training new staff and ensuring they are equipped for success.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in property administration or a related field.<br>• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.<br>• Familiarity with commercial property management and real estate practices.<br>• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.<br>• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders.<br>• Experience with legal documentation and contract preparation is an asset.<br>• Knowledge of strata and residential property management processes is an advantage.
