Receptionist
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team for a short-term contract position in Toronto, Ontario. This role requires excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to ensure visitors and staff experience a welcoming environment. You will play a key part in managing front desk operations and supporting daily office activities.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Dates of the Assignment:</strong> December 22nd-24th, 29th-31st and January 2nd, 2026</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Greet visitors and staff in a courteous and detail-oriented manner, ensuring a positive first impression.</p><p>• Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently, providing accurate information when needed.</p><p>• Manage front desk operations, including maintaining a tidy and organized reception area.</p><p>• Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings as required.</p><p>• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely distribution.</p><p>• Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry and filing tasks.</p><p>• Respond to inquiries promptly and ensure issues are resolved or escalated appropriately.</p><p>• Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, coordinating replenishment when necessary.</p>
• Proven experience in a receptionist or front desk role within a detail-oriented environment.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.<br>• Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.<br>• Friendly and approachable personality with a commitment to providing exceptional service.<br>• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br>• Prior experience in a contract or short-term role is an asset.
