<p>We are looking for an experienced Merger & Acquisition / Post-Integration Consultant to join our team on a 12-month contract basis in Toronto, Ontario. This position is ideal for an individual with extensive expertise in post-merger integration, who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys collaborating across business units. As part of the Integration Management Office, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful merger outcomes and ensuring seamless operational transitions.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive post-merger integration plans across various business functions.</p><p>• Collaborate with departmental leaders and stakeholders to align integration strategies with overall business objectives.</p><p>• Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions to address integration challenges and drive synergy realization.</p><p>• Identify potential risks and dependencies within the integration process and implement effective solutions.</p><p>• Provide subject matter expertise in post-merger integration activities, ensuring operational and strategic goals are met.</p><p>• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Project to manage timelines, deliverables, and progress reports.</p><p>• Design future-state models to optimize operations and realize merger synergies.</p><p>• Serve as the primary point of contact for integration-related queries and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.</p><p>• Monitor integration milestones and assess their impact on business performance.</p><p>• Drive continuous improvement in integration processes by analyzing outcomes and recommending adjustments.</p>
• Minimum of 10 years of experience leading multiple post-merger integration projects.<br>• Proven track record in managing cross-functional business integration activities, not limited to IT or technology-focused projects.<br>• Strong expertise in stakeholder engagement and communication across various organizational levels.<br>• Proficiency in using project management tools, particularly Project, to manage integration workflows.<br>• Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable roadmaps and milestones.<br>• Deep understanding of business operations and synergy optimization in post-merger scenarios.<br>• Experience working within an Integration Management Office or similar structure.<br>• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
