We are looking for a skilled Finance BI/Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Toronto, Ontario. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis and be proficient in handling large datasets using advanced tools such as Power BI and Excel. This position requires the candidate to be in office 4 days/week Responsibilities:• Analyze and consolidate large volumes of financial data to support business decision-making.• Create and manage detailed reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including macros, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs, to streamline data operations.• Monitor performance metrics and generate regular KPI reports to assess business outcomes.• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends and insights.• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine reporting needs and ensure data accuracy.• Support financial management processes through comprehensive analysis and reporting.• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality reports and dashboards.• Maintain data integrity and accuracy across all reporting tools and processes.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial data analysis and business intelligence, construction industry experience an asset.• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, macros, and pivot tables.• Proficiency in using Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting.• Strong understanding of KPI reporting and performance management.• Ability to analyze complex datasets and extract actionable insights.• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.• Familiarity with financial and procurement processes and systems.
