Receptionist
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to join our clients team on a contract basis in Surrey, British Columbia. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and organized front desk environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys delivering exceptional customer service.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Greet visitors and clients with a friendly and organized attitude, ensuring they feel welcomed.</p><p>• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate team members.</p><p>• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including preparing couriers for delivery.</p><p>• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects the company’s high standards.</p><p>• Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with internal staff as needed.</p><p>• Manage data entry tasks with accuracy, ensuring all records are up-to-date.</p><p>• Draft and respond to email correspondence in a timely and organized manner.</p><p>• Utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, and Excel for administrative tasks.</p><p>• Organize and maintain filing systems to ensure easy access to company documents.</p><p>• Provide general administrative support to the team as required.</p>
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist or administrative role.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.<br>• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.<br>• Ability to handle a multi-line phone system efficiently and professionally.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a busy environment.<br>• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues.<br>• Familiarity with scheduling appointments and maintaining filing systems.
