Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Ottawa, Ontario. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient communication across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong aptitude for organization and multitasking.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including answering and directing phone calls and responding to emails.<br>• Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring all details are accurately handled.<br>• Maintain and update records, databases, and files with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.<br>• Prepare and format documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<br>• Assist with data entry tasks to ensure timely and accurate processing of information.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.<br>• Collaborate with team members to support various administrative projects and initiatives.<br>• Monitor office supplies and coordinate with vendors to ensure adequate inventory levels.<br>• Handle other administrative duties as assigned to support the executive team.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or similar role.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.<br>• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a detail-oriented approach.<br>• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.<br>• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.<br>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.<br>• Experience managing schedules, appointments, and correspondence.<br>• Familiarity with customer service principles and practices.
