Sourcing Coordinator
We are looking for a detail-oriented Sourcing Coordinator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in New Westminster, British Columbia. In this role, you will play a key part in managing vendor relationships and ensuring the accuracy of vendor records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and modernization of our procurement processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain and update vendor files to ensure data integrity and compliance with company standards.<br>• Oversee and strengthen relationships with vendors, acting as the primary point of contact for inquiries or issues.<br>• Process and manage data entry tasks related to vendor accounts and transactions.<br>• Assist in transitioning vendors to electronic payment systems, ensuring a smooth and timely implementation.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve vendor-related concerns.<br>• Monitor and report on the progress of vendor transitions to electronic payments.<br>• Provide support for procurement-related projects and initiatives as required.<br>• Ensure all procurement activities align with organizational policies and industry best practices.<br>• Contribute to the development of process improvements within the procurement department.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related field.<br>• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail when managing vendor records.<br>• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and working with procurement systems or databases.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Familiarity with electronic payment systems is an asset.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities.<br>• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
