Data Entry Clerk
We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Hawkestone, Ontario. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and organization of critical data, supporting various administrative tasks, and maintaining confidentiality. If you have strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Input and organize data accurately into spreadsheets and databases, ensuring all information is correct and up-to-date.<br>• Process purchase orders and manage related documentation with precision and efficiency.<br>• Assist in managing credit card payments for invoices, maintaining detailed records of transactions.<br>• Conduct research tasks, such as identifying and evaluating shipping depot locations and associated costs.<br>• Locate, scan, and digitally store archived receipts to support litigation needs while maintaining strict confidentiality.<br>• Manipulate and analyze data in Microsoft Excel, including performing calculations and creating organized reports.<br>• Maintain accurate records, paying close attention to details to prevent errors in part numbers and other critical data.<br>• Provide general support for administrative tasks, including email correspondence and organizing physical and digital files.<br>• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth data handling and task completion within deadlines.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a data entry or administrative role.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform calculations and manipulate data effectively.<br>• Strong keyboarding skills, including 10-key typing, with a focus on speed and accuracy.<br>• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all data-related tasks.<br>• Experience with scanning and organizing files, both physically and digitally.<br>• Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of discretion and professionalism.<br>• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.<br>• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for email correspondence and teamwork.
