<p>Our client in Edmonton is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage complex payroll and benefits for a unionized workforce. This long-term contract role offers a collaborative environment and involvement in payroll system and process improvements.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Process accurate, compliant payroll for unionized employees</li><li>Administer pensions and group benefits</li><li>Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries</li><li>Prepare T4s and support payroll provider transitions</li><li>Produce payroll, pension, and benefits reports using Excel</li><li>Address union-related payroll issues and grievances</li><li>Maintain accurate payroll records and support system improvements</li><li>Use payroll systems such as Ceridian, ADP Workforce Now, and Dayforce</li></ul><p><br></p>
