Divisional/Plant Controller
<p><strong>THE ROLE:</strong></p><p>We’re partnering with a growing, publicly listed manufacturing organization to find a hands-on Contract Controller for a long-term contract role supporting a complex, operationally driven business. This is a high-impact position with full ownership of month-end close and financial insight, working closely with operations and senior leadership.</p><p><em>Key responsibilities include:</em></p><ul><li>Full responsibility for month-end close, including journal entries and financial reporting</li><li>Inventory management & costing (standard costing + job costing)</li><li>Variance analysis with direct collaboration across operations and leadership</li><li>Present monthly financial results to senior leadership, including VP-level reviews</li><li>Balance sheet ownership (accruals, reconciliations)</li><li>Identify process gaps and lead ad hoc analysis to resolve operational and financial issues</li><li>Collaborate within a shared services model supporting transactional processes internationally</li><li>Ensure alignment with public company requirements, including US GAAP and SOX compliance</li><li>Supporting forecasting and long-range planning (4-year models)</li></ul><p><strong>ABOUT YOU:</strong></p><p>You are a results-driven and adaptable finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment. <p><strong>YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in a Controller or senior accounting role within manufacturing</li><li>Strong background in standard costing (required) and inventory management</li><li>Ability to manage a compressed month-end close cycle in a high-pressure environment</li><li>Experience with variance analysis and operational finance partnering</li><li>Solid understanding of balance sheet management, reconciliations, and accruals</li><li>Exposure to US GAAP and SOX compliance (preferred)</li><li>Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS)</li><li>Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems</li><li>Experience with job costing is a highly preferred asset</li><li>Professional accounting designation is preferred</li></ul><p>If you are looking for a high-visibility role where you can make an immediate impact and work closely with leadership, this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss—click the “Apply Now!” link.
