In addition to overseeing financial planning and budgeting cycles, you'll help maintain the integrity of financial systems and controls.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare, analyse, and deliver insightful financial and management reports.</li><li>Oversee financial planning and budgeting activities - monthly, quarterly, and annually.</li><li>Ensure the accuracy of general ledger systems and maintain robust financial controls.</li><li>Provide business managers with financial data to inform decisions, integrating forecasts and analszing long-term trends.</li><li>Manage statutory returns, compliance reports, and maintain strong audit trails.</li><li>Contribute to long-term financial strategies and forecasts, considering market and economic conditions.</li><li>Capitalize assets within the fixed asset register, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policy.</li></ul><p><strong>About You:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Qualifications:</strong> You hold tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA qualifications - or working towards certification - highly desirable).</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 5+ years in senior accounting roles, preferably within construction or infrastructure environments, with proven project accounting experience.</li><li><strong>Skills:</strong> Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, liquidity forecasting, general ledger management, and Excel.
