You'll lead the management reporting function, partner closely with commercial and operational leaders, and drive process improvements across the finance function.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>Finance Management<br /> · Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the Pronto accounting system.<br /> · Perform and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.<br /> · Reconcile intra-group transactions and balances.<br /> · Analyse and monitor transactions across internal projects.<br /> · Compile data and calculations for government compliance (Income Tax, Payroll Tax, FBT, ABS).<br /> · Maintain the Fixed Asset Register for accounting and taxation purposes.<br /> · Approve purchase orders, sales orders, and bank transfers.</p><p>Business Support<br /> · Partner with senior finance, head office, and operational teams to provide insights and financial support.<br /> · Conduct ad-hoc reviews and analysis of key operational activities such as inventory and WIP.</p><p>Reporting &amp; Budgeting<br /> · Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.<br /> · Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and lead budgeting and forecasting cycles.<br /> · Provide clear analysis and commentary to support strategic decision-making.</p><p>Continuous Improvement<br /> · Support ERP system enhancements and implementation projects.<br /> · Identify and lead process automation and efficiency initiatives.</p><p>Audits<br /> · Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout the audit process, ensuring compliance and readiness.</p><p>What We're Looking For:</p><p>✔ Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA/CPA mandatory)</p><p>✔ Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within Mining Services or Manufacturing.<br /> ✔ Systems: Proficiency in Pronto (Pronto Exp essential) and advanced Excel skills.<br /> ✔ Attributes:<br /> · Excellent technical accounting and analytical ability.<br /> · Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.<br /> · Proven experience in driving process and system improvements.<br /> · High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving capability.</p><p>What's in It for You:</p><p>Join a business with a strong leadership team and a collaborative, high-performing finance culture.
