Robert Half has forged strategic alliances and relationships with trade associations to better serve the professionals in the fields we serve. We contribute to the mission of each trade organization by working together to develop thought leadership, awards and scholarship programs, training and development sessions, and hiring and job search resources for the members of these organizations.

As a result of these relationships, we are often called upon to help with the hiring or job search needs of the highly skilled members of these professional trade organizations.

Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA)

Robert Half supports the AFWA and its mission of advancing women in the finance and accounting industry. Formerly the American Society of Women Accountants, and founded in 1938, the AFWA has grown to more than 100 chapters throughout the United States. AFWA is dedicated to enabling women in all fields of accounting and finance to achieve their personal, professional and economic potential and to contribute to the future development of the profession.

AIGA 

Founded in 1914, AIGA is the world’s largest and most influential design organization. AIGA oversees an extensive membership network of more than 22,000 professional designers and students and serves as the authority, resource and advocate for the entire communication design industry. Through a range of programs, AIGA stimulates thinking about design, demonstrates the value of design and supports designers across the arc of their careers. To address the unique opportunities and challenges faced by designers working in-house, AIGA partnered with The Creative Group (TCG) to form “INitiative,” a program to help in-house designers make a greater impact at their companies, evolve professionally and connect with a broader network of peers.

American Advertising Federation (AAF)

The American Advertising Federation (AAF) acts as the “Unifying Voice for Advertising.” The AAF is the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 40,000 professionals in the advertising industry. The AAF has more than 200 chapters across the U.S. Through its 226 college chapters, the AAF provides 6,500 advertising students with real-world case studies and recruitment connections to corporate America. The Creative Group is among the nearly 100 blue-chip corporate AAF members that include advertisers, agencies and media companies, comprising the nation’s leading brands and corporations.

American Institute of Certified Public Accountants® (AICPA® )

American Payroll Association (APA)

Robert Half is proud to be the exclusive financial staffing partner of the APA and an honored sponsor of National Payroll Week. Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA)

With more than 23,000 members and 37 chapters, ALPFA is the leading professional association dedicated to enhancing opportunities for Latinos across all industries. Established in 1972, ALPFA is the first national Latino professional association in the United States. Robert Half is proud to support ALPFA by providing four scholarships granted in the amount of $2,500 each. Two are made available to students who show potential to lead their future professionals while the other two are offered to the Women of ALPFA program. 

Founded in 1919, BAP is an honor organization for financial information students and professionals. There are more than 300 chapters on college and university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since BAP’s formation. BAP recognizes outstanding academic achievements in the fields of accounting, finance and information systems; promotes the study and practice of professional fields related to these disciplines; and provides opportunities for self-development and association among members and practicing financial professionals.

Dress for Success®

Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Among other programs and initiatives, Robert Half participates in suit drives to provide business attire for disadvantaged women.

Enactus

Enactus is an international organization that connects student, academic and business leaders through entrepreneurial-based projects that empower people to transform opportunities into real, sustainable progress for themselves and their communities. Guided by academic advisors and business experts, the student leaders of Enactus create and implement entrepreneurial projects around the globe. It helps students develop the kind of talent and perspective that are essential to leadership in an ever-more complicated and challenging world.

Financial Executives International® (FEI)
