Procurement Manager Job Description

Companies look for candidates with the business acumen and negotiating skills to negotiate favorable deals and contracts with vendors and suppliers. Developing and implementing procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with organizational standardsNegotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors for the procurement of goods and servicesMonitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues arising from contractsCoordinating the RFP process, including evaluation of proposals and selection of vendorsSupervising the organization’s procurement team
