The account director is an advertising or marketing agency leadership position responsible for delivering integrated campaigns that meet clients’ brand objectives. Professionals in the account director role usually take the lead on efforts to retain and grow valued client accounts. Strong teamwork, problem-solving, interpersonal, and verbal and writing skills are must-have skills for this position.
