<p><strong>M365 Engineer - European Tenant Consolidation Migration: Contract via Robert Half for Protiviti Consulting</strong></p><p>Protiviti Consulting is leading a European migration programme to consolidate multiple M365 tenants into a single environment streamlining operations, standardising security, and enabling a scalable platform for future global rollout. Robert Half is supporting this initiative with contract talent. This is a hands-on M365 Engineer role with exposure to light architectural thinking. You'll work alongside a small migration team to execute tenant-to-tenant consolidation, covering mailbox, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive migrations. The European migration is phase one, with potential to extend into a global programme.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Assignment Details</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Location:</strong> Oxfordshire based client (Remote, with occasional on-site)</li><li><strong>Duration:</strong> Initial 3 months (potential extension)</li><li><strong>Day Rate:</strong> Market competitive via FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company</li><li><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP (c.1-2 week turnaround including interviews and onboarding paperwork)</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver end-to-end M365 tenant consolidation across Europe within defined timelines.</li><li>Conduct mailbox, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive migrations using tools such as <strong>BitTitan</strong> or <strong>ShareGate</strong>.</li><li>Support AD cutover planning and execution during migration phases.</li><li>Apply M365 security policies and governance during migration.</li><li>Contribute to migration planning with an element of architectural problem-solving (without being a full solutions architect).</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Experience Required</strong></p><ul><li>Proven hands-on experience with <strong>M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations</strong>.</li><li>Strong technical delivery across SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online migrations.</li><li>Tooling experience with <strong>BitTitan</strong> or <strong>ShareGate</strong> (or equivalent).</li><li>Understanding of <strong>Active Directory cutover and integration</strong> in migration contexts.</li><li>Knowledge of M365 security and compliance features.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Notes</strong></p><ul><li><strong>2 hires required: 1 Senior Engineer (multiple migrations, complex cutovers) and 1 Experienced Junior Engineer (hands-on execution, tooling).</strong></li><li><strong>All associates will undergo comprehensive background checks (up to 2 weeks turnaround).</strong></li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
