<p><strong>IT Business Analyst (Connectivity &amp; Satellite Programme) | Telecoms</strong></p><p>Robert Half (an S&amp;P 500 global staffing provider) is supporting a global consulting firm in sourcing an experienced <strong>IT Business Analyst</strong> for a major <strong>telecommunications and satellite connectivity programme</strong>. This is a strategic piece of work focused on defining and designing new secure connectivity products to improve data access and service resilience for remote and high-security environments.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Assignment Details</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Initial Duration:</strong> 3-6 months (with potential extension) to start ASAP</li><li><strong>Location:</strong> Primarily remote - occasional on-site day near <strong>Basingstoke, Hampshire</strong></li><li><strong>Day Rate:</strong> <strong>£400-425 per day via FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company</strong></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p><p>You'll work closely with Product Managers and Delivery Managers within a connectivity services function to <strong>scope, analyse, and document</strong> the business and technical requirements supporting new satellite-enabled products. The role requires someone with a <strong>blend of telecoms knowledge, analytical discipline, and business process design capability</strong>, able to translate complex stakeholder needs into structured deliverables.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Design Analyst within telecoms, satellite communications, or connectivity services</strong></li><li>Strong background in <strong>requirements gathering, process mapping</strong>, and converting business objectives into delivery artefacts</li><li>Experience supporting <strong>product managers</strong> to define end-to-end operating models - including service transition, operational readiness, and incident management</li><li>Ability to engage with SMEs and technical leads to translate needs into actionable requirements</li><li>Understanding of <strong>secure data access, remote monitoring, or IoT-style environments</strong> advantageous</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded Business Analyst to shape next-generation connectivity solutions within a high-impact telecoms environment.</strong></p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
