<p>Robert Half have partnered with a global consultancy firm to recruit for a highly experienced VMware Architect to support a large-scale VMware Cloud 9 deployment for a global financial services client. </p><p>This role will focus on VCF enablement, architecture design, build, and adoption, ensuring the platform is production-ready and aligned with enterprise standards.</p><h3 data-end="1035" data-start="1007"><strong data-end="1035" data-start="1011">Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul data-end="1487" data-start="1036"><li data-start="1036" data-end="1108">Lead VCF architecture design and implementation for VMware Cloud 9</li><li data-end="1180" data-start="1109">Support VCF ennoblement, including platform readiness and adoption</li><li data-end="1261" data-start="1181">Design and build core VCF components (compute, storage, networking, lifecycle)</li><li data-end="1341" data-start="1262">Provide architectural guidance and best practices for enterprise environments</li><li data-end="1423" data-start="1342">Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful delivery</li><li data-start="1424" data-end="1487">Support troubleshooting, optimisation, and knowledge transfer</li></ul><h3 data-start="1489" data-end="1525"><strong data-start="1493" data-end="1525">Experience:</strong></h3><ul data-start="1923" data-end="2063"><li data-end="1592" data-start="1526">Deep expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) architecture</li><li data-end="1669" data-start="1593">Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise VCF environments</li><li data-start="1670" data-end="1748">Strong understanding of VMware full stack (vSphere, NSX, vSAN, SDDC Manager)</li><li data-end="1834" data-start="1749">Experience supporting cloud modernisation initiatives in regulated environments</li><li data-start="1835" data-end="1900">Ability to work independently in a part-time, advisory capacity</li><li data-start="1923" data-end="1983">Financial services or highly regulated industry experience</li><li data-start="1984" data-end="2063">Prior involvement in VMware Cloud major version upgrades or greenfield builds</li></ul><p><strong>Company:</strong></p><ul><li>Global consultancy firm</li><li> Competitive day rate</li><li> Hybrid working - 3 days based in London</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
