Group Credit Manager
<p><strong>Group Credit Manager - Slough - Hybrid (1/2 days from home) - 3/6 month contract - £400 - £450 per day</strong></p><p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p><p>The Group Credit Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and embedding robust, scalable credit management processes across all group entities. The role focuses on standardising best-practice credit control procedures, strengthening internal controls, improving cash flow, and reducing credit risk while supporting commercial objectives.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, implement, and continuously improve group-wide credit management processes</li><li>Standardise credit control procedures across all business units and geographies</li><li>Document end-to-end credit processes, including onboarding, credit approval, billing, collections, and dispute resolution</li><li>Ensure clear ownership, controls, and escalation points within all credit processes</li><li>Lead the rollout of new processes, ensuring adoption and compliance</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure data integrity and consistent reporting across all entities</li></ul><ul><li>Implement KPIs and dashboards to measure process effectiveness (e.g. DSO, overdue %, dispute cycle time)</li><li>Embed regular review cycles to monitor performance and identify root causes of issues</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce aged debt and improve cash conversion</li></ul><ul><li>Build and develop a high-performing credit function focused on process excellence</li><li>Define roles and responsibilities clearly within the credit organisation</li><li>Upskill teams in structured problem-solving and continuous improvement</li></ul><p><strong>Key Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in a senior credit management or order-to-cash role</li><li>Demonstrated success implementing and standardising processes across multiple entities</li><li>Strong understanding of end-to-end order-to-cash workflows</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management and change leadership skills</li><li>Data-driven, structured, and detail-oriented approach</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
