We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and lead a team of accounting experts. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining compliance, improving processes, and driving operational success within the aerospace industry.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage daily financial operations, including monthly reporting and month-end close processes, while identifying and addressing key financial or operational variances.<br>• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and implementing efficiency improvements.<br>• Lead and mentor a team of accountants by conducting performance reviews, fostering growth and development, and addressing any disciplinary matters.<br>• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures across all operations.<br>• Take ownership of or contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing operational and organizational performance.<br>• Coordinate and execute the annual external audit process, ensuring thorough preparation and collaboration with auditors.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and a strong understanding of accounting principles.<br>• Demonstrated ability to handle ad hoc financial tasks and provide accurate reporting.<br>• Experience managing budget processes and overseeing annual financial reporting.<br>• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering growth and accountability.<br>• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of process improvement.<br>• Knowledge of compliance standards and financial regulations relevant to the aerospace industry.
