<p>We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our clients team on a long-term contract basis in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape both the UX and UI aspects of our clients platform, catering to a technical and data-driven audience. As we transition towards developing more front-end features, your design expertise will play a pivotal role in creating seamless and intuitive user experiences. This contract role will start off part-time and see its hours increase as the project progresses.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Conduct UX research to understand user needs and translate findings into actionable designs.</p><p>• Develop wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.</p><p>• Design and refine high-quality UI components that align with a clean, modular, and data-focused aesthetic.</p><p>• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and elegantly executed.</p><p>• Create and maintain a cohesive design system to ensure consistency across the platform.</p><p>• Simplify complex data visualizations, workflows, and site analysis processes to enhance usability for technical users.</p><p>• Contribute to the development of intuitive dashboards, analytics views, and workflow builders.</p><p>• Stay curious about the energy and electrical space to ask thoughtful questions and improve product understanding.</p><p>• Participate in feedback sessions to iterate and refine designs based on user and stakeholder input.</p><p>• Ensure designs provide a seamless balance between functionality and visual appeal.</p>

• Proven experience in both UX and UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.<br>• Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD.<br>• Familiarity with creating prototypes and wireframes for websites and applications.<br>• Strong understanding of design systems and their role in maintaining platform consistency.<br>• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers.<br>• Knowledge of CSS and experience designing for Android platforms is an asset.<br>• Exposure to or interest in technical domains such as energy, engineering, or data visualization.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive designs.
