Payroll Administrator
<p>We are looking for a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. This is a long-term contract position ideal for an experienced individual with a strong background in full cycle, biweekly Canadian and US Payroll. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process semi-monthly and biweekly payroll for Canadian and US employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</p><p>• Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide clear, detailed responses.</p><p>• Perform year-end payroll functions, including tax form preparation and compliance reporting.</p><p>• Manage benefit administration tasks in collaboration with the HR team.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with averaging agreements and payroll regulations.</p><p>• Utilize accounting software systems to input, verify, and process payroll data.</p><p>• Address payroll issues and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.</p><p>• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and data integration.</p><p>• Monitor and update payroll records, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.</p><p>• Support the transition of payroll responsibilities through training and onboarding as needed.</p>
<p>• 5+ years of multi province and international full cycle payroll administration</p><p>• Proficiency in using accounting software systems; familiarity with Paycom is an asset.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations and practices, including year-end processes.</p><p>• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data.</p><p>• Proven ability to manage semi-monthly and biweekly payroll cycles.</p><p>• Solid understanding of benefit administration and compliance requirements.</p><p>• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to address payroll-related queries professionally.</p><p>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.</p>
