Robert Half is pleased to partner with a leading energy organization for a 15-month fixed-term opportunity supporting critical sourcing initiatives. This individual contributor role offers a collaborative, hybrid environment within Vancouver or Prince George and the chance to make an impact on major North American operations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive spend reviews and consolidate data to identify sourcing opportunities, savings, and category trends.</li><li>Develop comprehensive contracting plans aligned with business priorities, risk, and timing.</li><li>Design and implement sourcing strategies using market intelligence and commercial analysis; drive business alignment and secure required approvals.</li><li>Lead end-to-end sourcing events, including RFx development, supplier outreach, bid analysis, evaluations, negotiation, and award recommendation.</li><li>Negotiate contracts for maintenance services and goods, ensuring optimal commercial, legal, and operational results.</li><li>Oversee contract roll-out, ensuring transparent communication of framework and seamless transition to operations or contract administration.</li><li>Resolve contract and supplier disputes, managing escalations professionally and effectively.</li><li>Ensure sourcing and contracting activities are compliant with the procurement and governance policies as well as applicable USA and Canadian regulations.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, operations, and stakeholder groups to achieve strategic sourcing objectives.</li></ul><p><br></p>
