This leader will play a critical role in strengthening financial governance, supporting commercial and operational decision-making, and advancing initiatives that improve profitability, cash flow, and enterprise value.Key Qualifications<ul><li>CPA designation required</li><li>10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing and defence</li><li>Strong expertise in standard costing, pricing, and business case analysis</li><li>Proven experience strengthening internal controls and financial governance</li><li>Background working in large, complex organizations</li><li>Demonstrated success as an effective people leader</li><li>University degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline; MBA considered an asset</li></ul>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Serve as a senior finance partner to the General Manager and leadership team, providing insight to inform strategy, planning, and decision-making</li><li>Lead the annual budget process, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and regular financial performance reviews</li><li>Evaluate pricing strategies, customer proposals, contract changes, and capital investments with a focus on margin, risk, and cash flow</li><li>Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for local and corporate stakeholders</li><li>Maintain strong accounting practices, internal controls, and compliance with audit and corporate governance requirements</li><li>Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and treasury-related activities in partnership with corporate finance</li><li>Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, engineering, sales, and program management to improve cost performance and operational efficiency</li><li>Develop scenario models and decision-support analysis for strategic and commercial initiatives</li><li>Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while supporting broader transformation and process improvement initiatives</li></ul>
