- <p><strong>THE ROLE:</strong></p><p>We’re helping our client find a talented <strong>Quality Engineer</strong> with strong expertise in test automation and modern quality engineering practices to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with <strong>Playwright, TypeScript, C#, and BDD frameworks</strong>, along with experience testing frontend applications, APIs, and integrations. You’ll work closely with development and product teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle in a fast-paced Agile environment.</p><p><em>Key Responsibilities:</em></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites.</li><li>Build E2E and regression tests using Playwright, TypeScript, and/or C#.</li><li>Develop risk-based testing strategies and ensure strong test coverage.</li><li>Test React-based applications, APIs, and external integrations.</li><li>Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab.</li><li>Leverage AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes testing environments.</li><li>Investigate defects and collaborate with developers on resolution.</li><li>Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>WHY THIS ROLE?</strong></p><p>Join a collaborative and forward-thinking team where you’ll have the opportunity to work with modern technologies and make a meaningful impact on software quality. - We are looking for an IAM - Authentication & Access Control Specialist to support authentication governance, access control oversight, and cybersecurity compliance initiatives for a leading organization in the agriculture sector based in Calgary, Alberta. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited to a senior specialist who can evaluate existing practices, strengthen enterprise standards, and partner with technical and business teams to reduce security risk. The role focuses on improving how authentication requirements are defined, assessed, and applied across applications while helping the organization maintain strong control effectiveness and regulatory alignment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and refine enterprise-wide policies, standards, and supporting guidance related to authentication and access management.<br>• Examine current application authentication and access control practices to identify inconsistencies, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.<br>• Evaluate exception requests, non-compliance findings, and risk acceptance decisions to support sound security governance.<br>• Recommend remediation plans and compensating controls where gaps are identified in authentication or access control design.<br>• Work closely with cybersecurity, IT, compliance, and application stakeholders to collect requirements and confirm assessment results.<br>• Contribute to the design of governance processes for authentication oversight, including structured exception management practices.<br>• Map authentication and access control expectations to recognized industry frameworks and established security best practices.<br>• Assist with audit readiness activities, control reviews, and initiatives that improve control testing and automation.
