This role is ideal for a well-rounded accounting and finance professional who enjoys operating in a dynamic environment and contributing across both transactional and strategic finance activities.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.</li><li>Oversee general accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and account reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and supporting analysis.</li><li>Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements.</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.</li><li>Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.</li><li>Coordinate audits, tax filings, and year-end reporting requirements with external advisors.</li><li>Assist with ERP, systems, and process improvement initiatives.</li><li>Support compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Partner with operational leaders to provide financial guidance and decision-support analysis.</li><li>Prepare ad hoc reporting, KPI dashboards, and management presentations.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>CPA designation preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.</li><li>5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including experience in a Controller or senior accounting capacity.</li><li>Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.</li><li>Experience managing the full accounting cycle in a hands-on environment.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with major ERP systems.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with stakeholders across the organization.</li><li>Experience supporting process improvements and business transformation initiatives is considered an asset.</li></ul><p><strong>Interested?</strong></p><p>If you're a hands-on finance professional who enjoys combining accounting, financial analysis, and operational support, we'd love to hear from you</p>
