<p>Our client, a respected organization in the marine/logistics industry, is seeking a contract Purchaser to manage day-to-day procurement operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on ERP experience and support key supply chain activities. You will step in to oversee the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchase of goods and services while maintaining compliance with company standards and procedures. This role is located in Vancouver, BC.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Source, negotiate, and purchase goods and services in compliance with company policies.</li><li>Oversee the full purchase-to-pay cycle: reconcile receipts, manage orders, and ensure materials are accurately tracked within the current ERP system.</li><li>Monitor PO approval flows and collaborate with technical teams to fulfill maintenance and service requirements.</li><li>Maintain optimal inventory levels and manage Just-In-Time (JIT) points for recurring material needs.</li></ul>

<ul><li>1-2 years’ experience in procurement or purchasing; marine/logistics industry background preferred.</li><li>Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Strong negotiation and communication skills.</li></ul>
