- <p>Our client is embarking on a strategic data modernization initiative and is seeking a senior Microsoft Fabric consultant to help establish a modern enterprise data platform. This is a greenfield opportunity to design and implement the foundation that will centralize data from numerous internal and external sources, creating a scalable, reliable source of truth for the organization.</p><p><br></p><p>Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you will lead the discovery, architecture, and implementation of a Microsoft Fabric solution capable of ingesting, transforming, and organizing large volumes of structured and semi-structured data.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the design and implementation of a Microsoft Fabric data platform. </li><li>Conduct discovery sessions with internal stakeholders to understand current data sources, architecture, and future reporting requirements. </li><li>Design scalable ingestion pipelines for data from approximately 30 external partners and internal systems. </li><li>Build processes to ingest, validate, and transform large XML datasets into structured, analytics-ready formats. </li><li>Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory, Lakehouse, and related Fabric services. </li><li>Design and implement a modern data model that consolidates information from multiple systems into a single source of truth. </li><li>Integrate data from SQL Server-based data warehouses, third-party vendors, and additional external data sources. </li><li>Create reliable processes for handling inconsistent or imperfect source data while maintaining data quality and integrity. </li><li>Collaborate with business and technical teams to support future reporting, commission, and analytics initiatives. </li><li>Provide recommendations on Microsoft Fabric architecture, governance, security, and best practices. </li></ul><p><br></p>
