Plant Controller
<p><strong>Plant Controller</strong></p><p> Our client is seeking an experienced <strong>Plant Controller</strong> to join a manufacturing operation near <strong>Kingston, Ontario</strong>. This on-site role is ideal for a finance leader who brings strong manufacturing experience and enjoys partnering with plant leadership to drive performance, improve visibility, and support operational decision-making. Based on general knowledge.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>·      Partner with senior leaders and operating teams to provide financial insight that supports business decisions. Based on general knowledge.</p><p>·      Analyze monthly financial results, explain variances, and identify opportunities to improve profitability and cost management. Based on general knowledge.</p><p>·      Lead budgeting, forecasting, and mid-range planning activities. Based on general knowledge.</p><p>·      Build financial models and conduct analysis to evaluate trends, risks, and opportunities. Based on general knowledge.</p><p>·      Prepare journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. Based on general knowledge.</p><p>·      Produce management reports and presentations that translate financial data into clear business insights. Based on general knowledge.</p><p>·      Maintain strong financial controls and support compliance with internal policies and reporting requirements. <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>·      University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Based on general knowledge.</p><p>·      CPA designation required. Based on general knowledge.</p><p>·      7+ years of progressive financial management experience in manufacturing environments. Based on general knowledge.</p><p>·      Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost control. Based on general knowledge.</p><p>·      Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace. Based on general knowledge.</p><p>·      Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across functions. Based on general knowledge.</p><p>·      Knowledge of plant operations, inventory, and fixed asset management is an asset.
