- <p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>Our Calgary-based client is seeking a Digital Production Designer with strong Sitecore XM Cloud experience to support a large-scale website transformation initiative spanning multiple web properties.</p><p>This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating approved Figma designs into production-ready website experiences using Sitecore XM Cloud and an established component library. The successful candidate will work closely with designers, marketers, developers, and project stakeholders to assemble pages, support website launches, conduct visual QA, and ensure a consistent user experience across multiple sites.</p><p><br></p><p>This is <strong>not a software development role</strong>. The focus is on page assembly, component mapping, visual accuracy, quality assurance, and leveraging existing Sitecore capabilities to bring approved designs to life.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Sitecore Page Assembly</p><ul><li>Build and maintain website pages within Sitecore XM Cloud using approved Figma mockups.</li><li>Assemble pages using existing Sitecore components, templates, and design system assets.</li><li>Configure layouts, content, imagery, video, links, metadata, spacing, and styling using Sitecore page-building tools.</li><li>Ensure pages accurately reflect approved designs and brand standards.</li></ul><p>Design Review & Component Mapping</p><ul><li>Review Figma mockups and determine how designs align with existing Sitecore components.</li><li>Identify opportunities to leverage existing functionality before recommending enhancements.</li><li>Collaborate with design and development teams when custom functionality or component modifications are required.</li><li>Support decision-making around component usage and implementation approaches.</li></ul><p>Quality Assurance & Launch Support</p><ul><li>Perform visual QA to ensure websites match approved designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile experiences.</li><li>Validate responsiveness, alignment, spacing, component behavior, content accuracy, and overall user experience.</li><li>Participate in UAT and support issue resolution during website launches.</li><li>Assist with ongoing launch activities as new sites are released throughout the project.</li></ul><p>Collaboration & Communication</p><ul><li>Participate in project meetings with internal stakeholders and project team members.</li><li>Work closely with UX/design, development, marketing, and project management teams.</li><li>Communicate implementation progress, risks, and recommendations.</li></ul><p>Jira Tracking & Documentation</p><ul><li>Create and manage Jira tickets related to defects, enhancements, implementation requirements, and launch support activities.</li><li>Document findings, recommendations, and implementation considerations for technical teams.</li></ul><p>Design System & Figma Support</p><ul><li>Work extensively with Figma files and design system components.</li><li>Maintain consistency in typography, spacing, colours, and component usage.</li><li>Ensure all implementations align with established design standards.</li></ul>
