This short-term contract position offers an opportunity to oversee critical financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support audit preparations within the food manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical accounting background and excel in hands-on tasks, including reconciliations and troubleshooting. Working arrangement is 5 days onsite. Responsibilities:• Lead and manage all aspects of month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion within the designated timeline.• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing tasks to maintain financial integrity and resolve discrepancies.• Monitor and address issues related to credit memos, inventory, and invoicing errors while ensuring compliance with industry standards.• Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and responding to requests from auditors.• Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting to assist in decision-making processes.• Supervise and guide team members, including invoicing clerks and contract staff, to optimize workflow efficiency.• Troubleshoot accounting issues, including reconciliation challenges, and implement corrective measures.• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics and other financial tools to streamline operations and maintain accurate records.• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in all financial activities.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounts receivable challenges and improve overall processes.

• Proven experience in a finance management role within the food manufacturing or related industry.• Strong technical accounting skills, including expertise in reconciliations, journal entries, and troubleshooting.• Advanced proficiency in Excel and a thorough understanding of debit and credit principles.• Ability to effectively support audit processes and respond to auditor inquiries.• Familiarity with accounting software systems, including Microsoft Dynamics and CRM tools.• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to address financial discrepancies.• Preferred but not mandatory: Accounting designation such as CPA or equivalent.• Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage teams and prioritize tasks effectively.
