<p><strong>Robert Half</strong> is currently recruiting a <strong>Cost Controller</strong> who would like to work in a leading, international environment.</p><p>Our client is an international company located in the heart of <strong>Antwerp</strong> and is part of an American listed company.</p><p>The <strong>key accountabilities</strong> as a <strong>Cost Controller</strong> are:</p><ul><li>Oversee standard cost absorption rates and ensure accurate valuation of manufacturing costs across production facilities.</li><li>Document and standardize inventory policies, auditing procedures to ensure compliance.</li><li>Support IT and Operations teams on projects related to the flow of goods and its impact on product costing.</li><li>Manage physical inventory counts and reconcile results with financial records for all storage locations.</li><li>Handle manual inventory adjustments as needed.</li><li>Analyze inventory cost drivers and report on standard value production and deferred inventory.</li><li>Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for insightful analysis of inventory balances, work orders, and variances.</li><li>Complete monthly reporting schedules for financial consolidation and disclosures.</li><li>Perform annual inventory compliance reporting for the Belgian Government.</li><li>Provide support for internal and external audits on raw materials and work-in-progress inventory.</li><li>Collaborate with local Inventory Control managers to ensure proper handling and transfer of inventory throughout the production process.</li></ul><p>The <strong>required qualifications</strong> for this position:</p><ul><li>Relevant studies on university level in finance or economics or equivalent through experience;</li><li>2-5 years' experience within a similar position;</li><li>Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus;</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and previous experience with financial modeling tools;</li><li>Experience with an ERP-system;</li><li>You're accurate, detail and result oriented, facts and figures minded, have strong analytical and organizational skills with proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload;</li><li>stakeholders in an international environment;</li><li>Good communications skills.
