The project is intended to improve end-to-end finance workflows, automation, data quality, reporting, and operational visibility.The project is currently behind schedule and requires a hands-on Senior Project Manager who can bring structure, governance, and clear delivery discipline to a complex environment. This person will work closely with IT, finance, and external delivery partners to assess the current state, identify key risks, and support the business towards a successful go-live.Key responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead the recovery and remediation of a complex ERP and Salesforce-integrated project</li><li>Review current project status, delivery risks, technical dependencies, and governance gaps</li><li>Establish clear project controls across scope, change, testing, deployment, decision-making, and issue management</li><li>Work closely with finance, IT, and external implementation partners to drive delivery outcomes</li><li>Provide structure and clarity across a project with multiple technical and business dependencies</li><li>Support remediation planning ahead of a planned go-live</li><li>Improve visibility of project risks, priorities, ownership, and next steps</li><li>Help stabilise delivery and reduce reliance on undocumented or poorly understood legacy configuration</li><li>Support stakeholder confidence through clear communication, practical planning, and strong delivery leadership</li><li>Ensure the solution supports improved finance processes, automation, reporting, and data quality</li></ul>Essential requirements:<ul><li>Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering Salesforce implementation projects</li><li>Strong background across ERP, finance systems, or Salesforce-integrated business platforms</li><li>Experience recovering, remediating, or stabilising complex technology projects</li><li>Strong understanding of project governance, delivery controls, change management, testing, and go-live readiness</li><li>Experience working across finance, IT, and third-party implementation partners</li><li>Ability to quickly assess delivery risks, technical dependencies, ownership gaps, and project priorities</li><li>Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams</li><li>Comfortable operating in ambiguous or challenging project environments</li></ul>Highly regarded:<ul><li>ERP or finance systems implementation experience</li><li>Experience with Salesforce-integrated finance platforms</li><li>Exposure to systems such as Business Central, MYOB, Navision, or similar finance systems</li><li>Experience supporting project remediation ahead of go-live</li></ul>The opportunity:This is a high-impact contract role suited to someone who enjoys stepping into complex project environments and getting things back on track.
