A leading education provider sought to strengthen its organisational development function. They required an experienced Organisational Development Specialist to help establish and deliver their strategic workforce plan. This newly created 7-month contract role was designed to assess capability across the organisation, mapping current roles, responsibilities, and job descriptions, while identifying skills gaps and development pathways for the next 6, 12, and 24 months. The ideal candidate needed to blend technical skills (HR metrics, data storytelling, workforce strategy execution) with strong interpersonal qualities such as energy, pace, and proactive engagement.
