Media Planner in Irvine, CA

Media Planner Job Description

Media planners work with client and account teams to develop objectives and strategies for media buys, and they determine the mix of advertising outlets to use for campaigns to optimize frequency and maximize reach. Research and analytical skills are essential for this role, as are strong communication and collaboration abilities. Experience working with audience research and measurement tools such as ComScore and Nielsen may be required. A bachelor’s degree in marketing is often preferred.

Typical media planner duties:

Creating and implementing media plans to meet strategic, media-related objectives within established budgetsIdentifying target audiences and evaluating their behaviors to determine how to attract and retain customers and increase customer satisfactionTracking, analyzing and interpreting the results of advertising spend to gauge the success of campaigns and adjust strategies
