Typical file clerk duties:

Sort, organize and file documents in designated locations, both physical and digitalRetrieve files and records upon request from staff and managementMaintain filing systems and ensure documents are properly labeled and categorizedScan, copy and upload documents to digital storage systemsPerform routine audits to ensure file accuracy and completenessProtect sensitive information by following confidentiality protocolsAssist with archiving and disposing of outdated or unnecessary recordsSupport administrative staff with document preparation and data entryTrack file movement and maintain logs of document accessEnsure compliance with company policies and recordkeeping regulations
